That's good to know Chargers think's Hunter is going to be a workhorse but the fact of the matter is he's second string and the guy in front of him is not going anywhere too soon. He just signed a 3 or 4 year contract with quite a bit of guaranteed money. Also the 9ers just drafted a RB in the 2nd round, and I don't think they did that so that he could ride the bench for the next 4 years. Once Gore eventually goes Hunter will most likely split carries with James. Chargers might believe he could be a work horse but I don't think the 9ers agree. Also Bowman has almost scored double what these 2 players combined have scored. He's proven and durable. He's well worth a franchise tag as well. Desmond Bryant was a solid DE/DT last year. Solid enough that my original $500,000 RFA offer was deemed too low. Blackmon is a matter of personal opinion. The guy has done nothing to go along with starting his career out with a DUI and the longest hold out of the year. He has the potential to turn things around but the QB situation in JAX is not going to help matters at all. He's a gamble. Also look at previous trades for MLB's. I am going to post some for comparison so that people can see the value of Bowman who is being vastly underrated.

Chiefs trade: Tamba Hali (LB - KC) $10,663,800 (2011) 2012 Eagles 1st round pick - Traded for Christian Ponder 2012 Eagles 2nd round pick - Traded w/Reed Doughty 4 Was 1st 2013 Falcons 2nd round pick 2012 Falcons 3rd round pick 2012 Chiefs 3rd round pick 2013 Falcons 3rd round pick 2012 Chiefs 4th round pick 2012 Eagles 4th round pick
Raiders trade: Jason Babin (PHI) $6,100,000 (2014) Rolando McClain (OAK) $405,000 (2014)
I was actively seeking to trade Babin at this time and couldn't get a 3rd rounder out of him due to his contract and worries that he was a one year wonder with the Titans after being useless for so many years. ALL of that was for Rolando McClain who had done virtually nothing to prove himself. Bowman has done more than prove himself

This trade was just vetoed, I don't think your offer is any better than this one. Just my opinion though.

Ravens trade:
Kevin Boss - $5,500,000 (2014) 2012 1st Round 2013 1st Round
Texans Trades:
Connor Barwin - $480,000 (2012) Paul Posluszny - $11,500,00 (2014)
1 year of Barwin and a severely overpriced MLB.

By your logic, trades that were ripoffs can pass again too because they've been passed before

I'm just really not sure why we are so inconsistent, and it sucks to be on the losing end of the inconsistency. I feel that bowman is being underrated in this trade.

I think I'm being consistent on my part. I haven't been around for those trades. If so much was paid for Rolando even though he wasn't proven, why are you paying so little for guys who have a lot of potential just like Rolando did?

I gave up Rolando because I didn't believe in him the way the chiefs did and I obviously didn't think he was worth what the chiefs gave. He was also more proven then these guys are and in a position to succeed regardless of how good he was. He is the middle LB and he was drafted top 10 so he was guaranteed that position for quite awhile. MLB's will always get tackles, so not as much risk with Rolando as Blackmon and Hunter.

So it simply depends on personal opinion of a situation..which is what Chargers and I gave

Which obviously turns out to be quite the overpay now as he is averaging 8 pts per game. But I am sure the same thing could have been said about Curry, and look at how he has turned out.

Bowman is the #5 LB and he averages 17.5 points a game.

If Willis had the same contract as Bowman I bet you would pass it. Even though Bowman has more points than Willis.

How would that make any sense at all, Steelers?
