Well, that trade just set him back a couple of years, so I highly doubt it. I dont think that is a trade that the Vikes or Bucs would have done, but who knows? I know any of the exp. GMs in here, and they all know who they are, wouldnt touch that trade.
I also thought in offseason it was discussed that TAB needed to protect some new GMs from ruining their respective teams. This was one obvious instance where it needed to be done. Kuddos on Raiders on jumping on chance of giving up a good piece in Bowman to get potentially a franchise WR and good RB2 in a league where RBs and WR are suppose to hold more value.

I agree with both of you...Also true that TAB is here to protect the GM - unfortunately some don't learn until they've had a chance to bump their own head. No one to blame but themselves. These trade offers weren't going to stop and all the advice in the world isn't going to help them one bit. But in order to learn, I think they deserve the opportunity to make mistakes, as well as live by them - at least the team isn't in complete shambles (yet).

Yeah I haven't given credit to Raiders for getting such a sweet deal. Great investment.
