If it's a matter of opinion, then why shouldn't a trade be approved?
I thought the TAB was just supposed to make sure everyone was behaving ethically and nobody was colluding.
There's a winner and loser in every trade. As long as it's not completely crazy, I think veto's are getting a little out of hand.

I'm surprised to see how quickly steelers is giving up on Blackmon. It's been 7 games. Sure he could be David Terrell or any other draft bust or he could be suffering from gabbert/henne being QBs. Not sure if steelers knows how valuable hunter can be on that long cheap contract. I've made it very clear since I been here that I think TaB abuses the veto but glad they are here for this one. Steelers can surely get better than a great LB with a year and change left on contract and some scrub D players. But steelers seems determined to give Blackmon and hunter away so I'm sure hell either get screwed on this one or the next trade he attempts.

You guys are really downgrading Bowman here, Bowman is a stud LB who is easily worth the 10M of a TT in 2 years, dudes an animal next to Willis i would trade Blackmon straight up for him if i had the chance.

I don't think bowman for either is horrible. I would personally rather have Blackmon or hunter over bowman. Everyone keeps talking about bowman like he's some big secret. Pretty sure everyone knows who he is at this point. I just don't see the other players on this deal being worth hunter or Blackmon. It's all based on opinions of players future which is really hard for people to swallow when TAB doesn't agree with there Chrystal ball. Steelers undoubtedly gets crushed in this trade today but who knows what 2years from now says.

Bowman is great. But when does a WR and RB lose value at their respective positions because of the points they are currently producing? This analysis was made with the Chris Johnson trade and because he wasn't producing deemed a washout with no real value.
My issue isn't so much who wins/loses a trade, but more so the protection of the team itself against its owner. If we had a guarantee that owners would stay and fight through the mess they create it wouldn't be a problem at all...As it stands, replacing a WR and RB is going to be a difficult task for the Steelers. Having to tag Bowman in the meantime isn't going to help matters much

Chris Johnson has proven he can produce in the past at a very high level so you can't quite compare his situation to Hunter and especially Blackmon. Blackmon could easily turn out to be a complete bust like so many 1st round WR's have. He started off on the wrong foot holding out and getting a DUI before he even signed his contract. So far he's done nothing to dispute the fact that he could easily be a bust. Hunter is more promising but I still believe he will never be a true featured back. Once Gore is gone Lamicheal James will steal carries. I'm kind of scared of what happens next year. Gore is almost guarunteed to still be there and I would think that they will make an effort to get James involved as well. I could see something like a 40-40-20 split maybe. Gore and Hunter splitting carries with a sprinkle of James. You never know though... James could easily outplay Hunter in the future. I believe he was drafted higher.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Jags/Steelers trade should've been passed if TAB is gonna pass the Raiders one?

Kinda lame this got approved and mine didn't, i don't see the difference. Mayo and Bowman are the same type of player.

It also wouldn't be fair to compare an established player with young players who haven't had a real opportunity either. We could play the opinion game, but that's not really my sort of thing. So in all actually what I am comparing isn't the individual RB's or WR - but more so their position. Especially when compared to the limited resources the Steelers already have. Example; how much are the Steelers going to have to spend in FA to get 2 WR's so they can become competitive? of course it's possible they could draft a starting receiver with a 3rd round pick, but highly doubtful. Same question in regards to a RB. In looking after the team itself, all I am saying is that I see that these FA purchases will be complicated for them when it comes time to tag Bowman after next season. Not that it's a bad overall trade, but it could be for the Steelers organisation in their position.

Well, now the Steelers are the same team as the Vikings. The Steelers will realize this soon and probably quit.

This trade certainly didn't help the rebuilding process
