The Miami Dolphins offer Stephon Tuitt the following contract:
4 Years 2 Million
As a 3-4 DE his fantasy upside is limited but maintains a decent floor but isn't going to carry me to a championship like the production of JJ Watt or JPP could. The 2M will put him slightly above the contracts of other players of his position and production.
Comparisons:
Mike Daniels | 4 Yr 1.95M Jurrell Casey | 4 Yr 1.95M Cameron Heyward | 4 Yr 1.95M

Approve (1-0) This about where Tuitt contract should be. In addition to the contracts cited above, we have approved Ealy 4 @$2.1, Crick 4 @ $2.0 and Taylor 4 @ $2.25. As the Dolphins stated Tuitt has a solid floor at this position with a limited upside. It's a fair deal in my opinion.

Like quite a few of the offers, this one fails to consider those similar players and production on the higher end, failing to establish a median value, and making a fair offer from that obtained median.
There are a few DE's in the $2.5 range off the top of my head (similar, but less production).
As a player, I would not want to sign with any of these teams trying to low-ball me!...but hey, this is only fantasy right?
