Sorry for the delay in writing this, I've been rather busy recently and so I have had less time than I anticipated for the league turnover.
First of all I'd like to thank all of you for a great 2016 season, we have a great group of owners and I'm sure the level of competitiveness will only rise next year. To help this I will be selling off some of my top players as I feel that I have somehow gathered a team which appears to be head and shoulders above the others as shown by my 30 game unbeaten run. This will aid competitiveness so if any of you feel that this is something putting you off spending more time here then please know that I am taking the necessary steps for the league to remain one which any team could come away with the title with a team they put time into creating.
We currently have a 2017 Check In thread where we would appreciate you posting in, if you haven't already, to let us know if you will be returning or not for the 2017 season. This is found here: dynastynflgm.proboards.com/thread/9722/2017-season-check?page=2#scrollTo=42332
The first step of our off-season program is the off-season owners meeting which can be found here: dynastynflgm.proboards.com/board/96/2017-offseason
I encourage all owners to leave their thoughts and if they have anything which they would like to bring up to help the league improve then this is the place to post their thoughts and ideas. This meeting will run for a couple of weeks and then we will take mandatory votes in order to find the owner consensus on the ideas. This is your time to shape the league for future seasons so please do make the most of the chance!
During the time when the off-season meeting is running I will be updating all stats on the league front page, as well as archiving all 2016 trades, free agency, and other business. Once I have completed this I will post a 2017 Free Agents thread in the Unrestricted Free Agency board and I will ask all owners to post a list of the players who will be a Free Agent from their team this off-season. Once MFL has rolled over to the 2017 site these FAs can be dropped from your rosters and I will remove any cap hits which have expired.
An Off-Season Schedule will be posted in due course setting out preliminary dates for the league opening (Trading Reopening), 2017 RFA Tenders and Tag deadline, 2017 Tender and Tag bidding, 2017 Free Agency, and the 2017 Draft.
This stage of the off-season is a quiet one here in Dynasty NFL GM, however we would like to see it become more active, especially when you can make a difference for the future of the league through the owners meeting.
