Tennessee sends
Julian Edelman - 16: $11.00, 17: $11.0 18: $11.0
Jacksonville sends
2017 3rd (SFO)
Proposed on MFL
Jax accepts, hey don't look now but the Jax offence is slowing appearing on the horizon. Gronk coming back soon Jordan Howard, Dwayne Washington and Wendall Smallwood making waves. Tyrell Williams is probably the best receiver on the Chargers right now and Fitz destroyed a good secondary last Thursday. Edelman gives us a WR 1B for a couple of years even at 11M and we can afford that right now.
Good dealing with you TEN and good luck

Titans accept. I know this isn't much for a good WR but with his cap number hes more a burden to a rebuilding team. I sent out offers to about any team that could take the cap back and some others too but no one was interest at the salary or was also rebuilding. This was the best offer and I truly believe its a fair offer with Edelman taking up over an 8th of the salary I need that money to add depth in FA next off-season. I did seek advice from a higher up here and was told a 2-3rd would be the best I could get. Hope you trust my vision for the team and that I'll be here for the long hall.
Good Dealing and Luck JAX.
Accepted on MFL.

At first glance it looks like not enough but with that huge salary which I think is about what a QB should be here. And Edelmans injury past it doesn't seem lopsided enough or damaging to the teams or the league to veto.

This is really a tough one, because Edelman is definitely over-priced. But he's truly a Top 20 WR in a PPR league, maybe higher when Brady gets back. He is worth more than a late 3rd round pick. I would suggest trading him to a team with cap space for younger offensive talent or multiple picks. The Jaguars have a ton of 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks. As noted in the Chatango, if approved this trade sets a dangerous precedent for future trades.
Veto (1-1)

I don't know if there's another WR in the league making what Edelman makes unless there top 5 even then are mostly around 7-8m or FT one year deals. I had spoke wth Dan and he himself said wth his salary I'd be lucky to get a 2nd to 3rd round pick with that salary. I messaged every owner with enough cap and all shot anything down cause of cap. I know a 2nd is fair but how can this trade hurt the league when I highly doubt anyone would bid this much ever. Except the previous owner of Titan. If top WR on rookie deals get 1st plus a little and there cap is lower than 3m how is a 3rd for an 11m injury prone wr bad?

In taking an objective look at the teams and their GM's, in light of this trade, I can respect what both are attempting to accomplish. While relatively new to the league they seem to have not only an understanding of building their respective teams, but also a sound plan of direction and are also pro-active toward accomplishing such. This type of activity is exactly what we are aiming for from each GM in this league. So kudos to the both of you.
First, let me say that I respectively disagree with Dan's advice, if I may say without being disagreeble - as it is the opinion he holds.
In a league where an exchange of talent (whether real or perceived) can be and often is provided in addition to a draft pick(s) for acquiring a player of talent, there is no need to prematurely assume only a certain compensation is what can be realistically expected in return. There are simply too many additional variables to consider, i.e. seasonal injuries to competitive teams, long-term building plans, individual player values, etc.
Many "overly" high-priced yet talented players have been traded for a culmination of lesser talents in addition to draft picks.
Consequently I also disagree with Eagles.
Although there has been, imo, some great steals salary wise on the salary/contract of a top WR, the actual price-tag is not really inconsistent with the average price. Franchise tags did not escalate to their current value for some unknown reason. In addition, the fact that most top WR's are already locked-up drives prices higher. The former Titans owner did not place such a bid without viable competition from other owners.
Contract a little high? Maybe. But definitely not out of proportion to a point where a team who happens to have the available cap space to facilitate such a trade should receive an in-proportionate benefit in fair competition.
In this I agree with the Bills assessment.
Veto 2-2

He's over priced salary wise and it's three years. He's 30, will be 31 when I might need him. He's injury prone and that won't improve with age. I'm not a contender this year so the only real balance this effects is I could win more games and move down the draft board.
As ever with contracts/salary and salary cap players value isn't decided by points potential only. We also have age and health to consider.
Tennessee could get a second from a contender but he'd have to find one with 11 M to spend and a 17 second to burn. I myself maybe able to sell him on for a second in a few weeks. But for right now my evaluation (his value to me) is a third and that coincides with the valuation Tennessee has/had
As a rebuilding roster it's counter intuitive for me to make my roster stronger in the short term.

There are from my research two Wr paid more than him and there old contracts that end this year. The next highest is 9.5m. Like Jaguars has said he's gonna be 31 and 3 years left. He's got a good lengthy injury history. I sent PMs to any GM that has close to his salary or that I could find a player they could send back to make the cap fit and none had any interest. He was almost my free waive and I'm starting to regret not doing it. And also if I'm not mistaken the previous Titans bid was a couple million more than the bid before him as I believe from word in here he was a huge NE fan.

Approve (3-2)
Salary is oh so important in this league and at 11M Edelman is not a bargain. The Titans pick up an extra pick here and can probably use the 11m to sign a comparable WR in FA next year. He also drops the risk that Edelman's play could fall off as he finishes up this 3 year contract. If Edelman was cheaper or the Titans were taking on any bad cap in return I'd veto this in a heartbeat.
