Ending up on IR for two of the past three years, Barrington has not yet hit a stride to be considered a top paid LB. This the Packers have 2nd year man Jake Ryan and rookie Blake Martinez to add as competition and in the end Barrington may well be the 2 down thumper with Martinez playing the passing downs.
The Green Bay Packers offer Sam Barrington a 3 yr @ $2,500,000/yr contract.
