Paul Kruger (LB-CLE) $5,100,000 (2016)
William Hayes (DE-STL) $1,700,000 (2016)

To the Washington Redskins for:
Brandon Marshall (LB-DEN) 6,500,000 (2017)
Kamar Aiken (WR-BAL) $230,000 (2016) RFA
Cap Hit:
Carolina -$70,000
I accept. Tough trade here with Brandon Marshall's big salary, but he is top 10 at his position. I needed to address my LB Corps in a big way as it has turned out to be by far my biggest weakness on my roster with so many names under performing this year. I expected a big year from Kruger, but his move from the weak side position over to the strong side in Cleveland has really dampened what was other wise a strong 2014 performance. If I had any type of consistent play from that position, I would wait on Kruger. But I cannot continue to get such minimal numbers from my LB's and expect to win my division this year. Aiken will be a nice fill in for bye weeks and injuries. Giving up these two high picks is tough, however with Marshall's contract being for 3 years, and Aiken having an RFA tag on him doesn't too much negatively affect the long term implication of my organization. I can easily carry that big LB salary because of the good position I am in with my QB contract after drafting D. Carr last year. I think this trade puts my organization in a very competitive state for the next 3 years. Thanks to the Redskins, another nice deal.
