Well dansby is an expiring contract and Williams is 30 and coming off his best season in the last four years for a defensive coordinator who isn't even there anymore. Just to play devils advocate.

Screwing over a new GM?

So, what should the cost of a 32 year old free agent linebacker on a 2014 fantasy contract be? Dansby is purely a 1 year deal for me. I won't be able to afford tagging any high priced position next year. This is all the eggs in one basket, one more push before blowing up my team.

Don't treat me like a guy that preys on the new GM's. I've been in this league from the get go & have close to, if not more trades under my belt than any other. And honestly, I didn't even know he was new when we started talking. I saw his trade block and began the conversation.

And Kyle Williams is nice depth for me. Odds are I'm going to maybe get 1 good year out of him. I can't see him putting up those numbers at 32 or 33. Especially with his D Coordinator in Cleveland.

Titans and I went back and forth 3 or 4 times. They were very professional negotiations. And he stuck to his guns. I really wanted Derrick Johnson more.

You need to check yourself. And try to be a little professional. Try asking the parties involved before slinging around accusations.

As far as the trade window opening, I found clear information in a different spot. Don't get your panties in a bunch. This trade can just sit out here for a couple days before voting. Let it marinate. Maybe you can insult the intelligence & integrity of a couple others in the meantime.

Alright here is my take on making this trade. I'm giving up old veteran players for a draft pick I do not have I'm blowing this team up everybody is going. And my thought is no one else was going to give me a 1st rd pick for aging def. players. It maybe next year but its still a 1st rd for a rebuilding franchise. And out of all the offers I sent out Texans was the only to respond.

Another year, another round of crazy talk from people who don't know how or why a deal went down.

This is FAR from vetoable, and I agree that Browns needs to check himself.

To me, his post reads "man I'm just upset that I'm not a good enough GM to get that kind of value out of my players and picks".

Good trade fellas. And good luck Titans in the rebuild. Do it correctly, and it wont take long to find yourself at the top.
