Good deal all around. Mercilus is a very good player, but a 2nd can net someone of equal or greater value with a better contract.

Not really a fan of trading an established player (or one who is establishing himself) for a pick of chance. It would appear that a team rebuilding would include keeping such a player as Mercilus. In any case, with the upcoming draft expectations of being relatively deep, and the expected high 2nd round pick, I agree with Ravens on the possibility of netting at least someone of equal value.
