Hi, my name is Al Davis and I am the best NFL coach, GM, and Owner to ever grace this earth. What about John Madden? I made John Madden. I may be old and senile but I still know more about football than any coach or GM alive... especially that prick Jerry Jones. Here's a little tip for all you youngsters out there trying to find the right draft pick. The only thing that really matters is combine numbers, the 40yd dash in particular. If you have any other questions for me feel free to go F*** yourself.

Today is a tragic day in the history of a storied franchise as Owner and General Manager Al Davis has passed away. Completely dedicated to football, Davis began coaching at 24 years old, over 58 years ago. Eventually elected into the hall of fame in 1992, Davis was best known as a rebel, a man who established a team whose silver-and-black colors and pirate logo symbolized his attitude toward authority, both on the field and off. While Davis hired many bright young coaches such as, John Madden, Mike Shannahan, and Jon Gruden, these coaches soon found out Davis was just as much the coach. He ran everything from the sidelines, often calling down with plays, or sending emissaries to the sidelines to make substitutions. The raiders won 3 super bowls during the Al Davis era and were perenial contenders through the 70's and 80's and all the way up until their defeat in the 2003 Superbowl. Davis will be remembered for doing things his own way(drafting players based solely on 40 times among other things) and not caring what anyone thought about it. He will be missed. R.I.P. Al Davis
