I don't understand the veto thoughts on this one. This draft is extremely shallow, there is a HUGE dropoff after top 3 picks. If I were in the Cardinals position this gives him a lot more stability taking Ingram to pair w/ Torain. If he waits to 1.5 he will likely have Ryan Williams and be stuck trying to figure out who to play in the AZ backfield. Or he can parlay the 1.1 into another high pick and an established player.
LSH is nothing unless he goes to PHI in the Kolb trade and McCoy gets hurt. Doucet is blah. Both of those guys have expiring contracts whereas Daniels is signed through 2013. The 2.05 does have some value but add that w/ the 1.05 and thats the cost of moving up to 1.01. The players and 4th rounders are not worth the value of Owen Daniels, IMO.
I think the vetos are getting a little too picky. I realize that it may not be a trade you would do, but it doesn't threaten the integrity of the league or competitive balance. That should be the measuring stick on vetos. (P.S. Kinda glad my first deal w/ Texans got vetoed b/c now I have Schaub, but still don't think it should have been).
