Kevin Kolb (PHI) $1,392,000 (2011)
for
Andre Roberts (ARI) -- $405,000 (2013)
2011 Cards 3rd
I accept. i have thought about this for a while now weighing up Kolbs 1 year contract Cards can franchise him but with Fitz contract ending this year, also i cant see that happening unless another GM comes in with a huge offer for Fitz therefore if that does happen i dont want to be kicking myself. Roberts will get some time playing while Doucet recovers plus i get a pick in the 3rd

I want people to remember that Kolb is still a backup and there is no insurance that kolb will even be traded. plus Roberts will still be 3rd string once doucet returns

Exactly. Roberts isn't a starter, but Kolb basically is. Kolb is more a starter than a lot of the guys we have to consider as free agents are actually free agents.

Scouts Inc.'s Matt Williamson believes second-year WR Andre Roberts could take "a big leap forward" this season.
Roberts is a player to track this summer because he could end up starting opposite Larry Fitzgerald if four-year veteran Steve Breaston hits the open market. Early Doucet is still not 100 percent following post-season sports hernia surgery, so Roberts may well have the upper hand in training camp. Jun 21, 1:31 PM

Roberts is a 3rd string receiver in a pass happy offense as well as a KR
