Thought I would elaborate on some the Ravens concerns as to why I vetoed this trade. Of course as of right now, the trade is still in progress and may not be vetoed, as 3 approved voted could happen.
First, there are many comparisons that could be made...If using the LB's in the trade, and strictly using last years IDP, Kruger produced more than Wilson, which seems to indicate some sort of upgrade at the position. And perhaps it could very well be that Kruger will increase his IDP output this year, and also possible that Wilson stays about the same. The problem here is that Kruger's performance this upcoming season is of little to no value to the Vikes, just the same as it is of little to no value to the Ravens.
On the other hand, if comparing Jones, I think he has accumulated about 5 or 6 years in the league, and think it is more than fair to say that he is pretty much at the top of his game. Where as a rookie (Wilson) has already received a little playing time, has time to develop into the LB they drafted him for, and has a healthy contract that could help a rebuilding team for the long-term.
With both teams aiming to rebuild - there is nothing being exchanged on the part of the Ravens that cannot be obtained by the Vikes through retaining their own LB and keeping their 2nd round pick.

Thank you Bengals for your extended explanation. I understand 100 percent now and will try to rework if possible.

I am shocked though that this trade was approved, considering that both teams are rebuilding. At least one gets a shot at a future... btw, isn't Kruger a DE?

It seems like the line between rebuilding and trying to win now are very fluid.

I am shocked that this trade went through as well I had already withdrew the trade from MFL.
