3 lottery tickets and an expiring contract for an over-the-hill LB?
pretty decent value

I dont see where the Texans overpaid? Jordan Todman is on the Vikings PS, Mallet is backing up *cough*Tom Brady*cough*, Gihlcrist is a nickel cornerback (how many pts do those guys usually get 5.5?), and Urlacher who is fighting injuries and cost over 8M for 1 more year.
Im not a BJGE fan boy, but he should be good for 10-15pts per game, and Shanle should be good for another 7-9pts per game as well. Think its a good move for Texans for sure. 49ers got "lottery tickets", but dont see any of those guys really doing anything thru their contracts.
Good job Texans AND he saved some roster spots and almost 1M in cap room.

thats the sign of a good trade... hard to see which side you want to be on. when you have support from different people for both sides, it's definitely a win/win situation
