Yeah, forgetting about fantasy for a minute... I hate the preseason for this very reason.
You get solid players that are just starting to shine, and then you lose them to injury.
And I think you'll see more of this with the rules in training camps getting more strict on contact drills, etc...
Hope he bounces back strong.

What happens when you start tooting your own horn too early. It was still preseason so wasnt time to proclaim anything. Had it been done in regular season for a few weeks, by all means toot away.

To go back to the "I think I know what I'm doing" part of this thread... and I know it's just the preseason, but check this line out for Vincent Brown: 4 receptions, 81 yards, 1 TD at the half. This kid is SUPER talented. I just hope he gets a starting role soon. No, he meant this.

Who are you to try and call me out? Nothing has changed with the trade or the value of it. This kid is a fantastic player and since (I'll say this again for the slow kids in class) I DONT NEED HIM THIS YEAR BECAUSE I WONT COMPETE THIS YEAR, this injury doesn't matter. My team could all develop Smallpox and be out for the year, it wouldn't matter. I'm saying it's a bummer for him (in real life, because that still exists you know) because he was having a fantastic offseason. Most people can have a conversation where they understand the premise and the logic. You did neither.

Actually if your whole team developed smallpox it would matter as they certainly wouldnt be playing football again anytime soon (If at all).

HA!
Smallpox/AIDS/SARS, whatever you want to give them to kill them off, it's cool with me.
