Minnesota Vikings give: Brian Robison (Min - DL) $4,700,000 (2013) 2012 Draft Pick 1.25 2013 Round 1 Draft Pick from San Fransisco 49ers
New England Patriots Give: Mark Clayton (FA - WR) $5,400,000 (2014) DeMarcus Ware (Dal - LB) $6,700,000 (2015)
Basically swapping Jefferson for Robison to counter the cap problems that TAB were having last time

still terrible... robison is almost worth his contract so this doesn't make things much better. Take clayton out of the deal and its almost fair.

If he wants Clayton in the deal, why should I make it worse for me? TAB were saying it was cap trouble, so the cap swing is being lowered

No, the problem was that Clayton was being traded in the deal. Pretty much every TAB mentioned him. FInd some player that is now out of the league but being 5Mil+ and include him in the deal and that would be fair.

That may be true, but it was pretty clear what TAB thought the problem was, no one said it was too much cap going to Minny, we said it was too much dead cap. I am not sure swapping for a better player on a bit higher of a salary is really going to be enough.
Minny may want Clayton in the deal desperately, but TAB isn't here to let owners get what they want.

Just performed a trade that was approved between the Vikes and 49'ers that invovled Vikes pick 1:25. This trade was invalid anyway. Vikes need to concentrate on performing their duties in a timely and efficient manner.

I think before Vikes concentrates on anymore trades they need to get all their rosters and war room info in order.
