nothing special, imo chargers gets better end of the deal because roberts gets less looks with floyd there and he gives up 3.8 M in cap space. Good deal SD

Ok, I usually dont start trade discussions, but I dont really understand this trade.
Bills are actually GLAD to add a starting NT in a 3-4 defense and a WR that got bumped down a slot on the depth chart after the Cardinals drafted Michael Floyd? Roberts will be behind Fitz, Floyd and Doucet. Alex Green has a good shot at starting at RB in GB if he has a good camp, with Ryan Grant out of the picture. Dwan Edwards actually put up almost TWICE as many points as Sopoaga. Green is also a RFA as opposed to Roberts who will be an UFA.
The Bills are actually giving a pick as well, when if anything the Chargers should add a pick because Green is a RFA. The only positive side I see for the Bills is that he would get to clear 3.8M off the books after this year.
Im not sure if its enough to veto, but definitely a very questionable trade.

Hey Victor, I think you should read the news before making these comments.
Obviously I see where I get better, but it's not a bad trade either. If you check Rotoworld, Roberts has Whisenhunt and Kolb's full backing as the slot, so he's not behind Doucet. In fact they expect him to excel in that role. Moreover Dwan Edwards is the bigger salary dump. According to Rotoworld he is a rotation player with Mario Williams and Mark Anderson signed in free agency. He's more questionable because at least Sopoaga starts and gets tackles.
Please read up before you decide to make any statement deriding the trades.

This trade discussion where everyone is free to give their opinions and thoughts on trades. You don't have to like ity, and you can defend the trade if you want, but don't get butt hurt because someone doesn't like it.

Classic sign of defending a trade where you know you stole the show. I've done it.

Rotoworld is no Bible. LOL. Roberts will not pass Doucet on the depth chart. You can mark that down. Also if you look at last year stats, Sopoaga had ONLY 20 tackles and 10 assists and that was STARTING all year. He is a gap clogging NT. That is his job in that defense. Not to make Tackles. Thats Bowman and Willis' job. Dwan Edwards is in a very NICE D-Line rotation and will easily replicate his numbers from last year, 29 tackles, 23 assist, and 2.5sacks. Who CARES if he starts?!? So I did READ up man. Like the Texans said, DONT get all butt-hurt over some comments especially if anyone's butt should hurt it is the Bills that should be complaining about that. ;D I did post these comments in the right section and didnt post in your trade thread. This is what this section is for from what I remember, if not correct me and I wont.

"The Cards do a commendable job of annually sticking to their board, and they had Floyd rated higher than OT Riley Reiff. Floyd was Arizona's No. 2 receiver behind Justin Blackmon. While Whisenhunt says Floyd will be guaranteed nothing in terms of depth-chart landing spot, he should not struggle to beat out Andre Roberts for a starting job. Early Doucet will stay in the slot. May 1 - 10:45 AM"
Even though rotoworld isn't the end all be all..
