To be honest, I have more faith in Ced Ben than some people do. Even with the history at that position, who else will the Packers have running the ball for them? Alex Green or Starks?
Great deal for both sides from a first look, even though I hope Steelers knows that Ced Ben is out for 8 weeks or so.

Yeah I did this in good faith. I hope he knows of the injury even though it never came up in our discussion. He shot me a deal, I accepted, and it was posted. Very little negotiations back and forth. RB is a priority in this league based on discussions on here right?

yeah, mine too. I dont want to spend 10 mil on anyone outside of a QB, but the 4th sealed this deal for me

My main thing is that he needs to know he is out 8 weeks. And to answer Landon's question Benson is on a one year deal, so there is no guarantee he is back next year for packers.

Sounds like an attempt to make a situation fit only if it personally applies...

terrible trade. Bensen out for most of the season and not guaranteed a spot next season.

Look, I have zero running backs who can produce. I will not be making the playoffs unless guys not named Benson step up. I know he's injured but I have him until 2014. He scored 75 points when he was healthy, I'm sure the Packers will keep him, because it opens up Rodgers more.

He had a 1000 yards rushing last year, and look at how the bengals treated him No guarantee that any team keeps him

Cardinals is just mad because I'm in his division and moved him for an actual asset.
Patience is a virtue.

From Bears veto:
"He averaged only 3.5 ypc which makes it even less likely he finds a team looking for his services next year at age 30"
Other backs that aveage 3.5 ypc this year...
Darren McFadden Doug Martin Steven Jackson
Backs averaging lower than 3.5
BenJarvus Green-Ellis Chris Johnson Mark Ingram
3.5 YPC is average. It's not below average. Can't see why that would be a knock AGAINST a RB.

Because that back is on a one yr deal and has been in decline for 3 straight years and wasn't given more than a one yr deal. DMF and Martin are both young backs on along deals, Oh and they're all still playing this year....
