Like I've said, one of the better trade proposals in three-way trades imo. Great explanations in regards to what is being received vs. what is given. Much better job in that area by Redskins (though would like to see more of how it helps better your team).
That said, I still see that concerns of RB performance seems to somehow hinder their value. Although I don't believe the RB's have been shopped around (no discussions with multiple teams) for an actual "best offer", they (Titans and Skins) are willing to settle in case their value drops (more?)
To be honest, I went through this trade earlier bit by bit, before all acceptance. I think Titans could have gotten a bit more, but am satisfied with their explanation and their goal. As far as Redskins are concerned, actually kind of proud of the Patriots for laying a better attempt down by parting ways with Levy in an effort to make this trade more acceptable. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of a trade off with Misi rather than Fletcher.
In addition, Davis was acquired for a top IDP options in Long and Lauranitis (albeit 1-yr contracts) and a 1st round pick WR2 in Hankerson. In my book, this EASILY equates to two 1st round draft picks.
In his exchange here, he is receiving Fitzgerald (at almost 3X the price next year) and let's say
Nick Novak (K - SD) $600,000 (2015) Kyle Arrington (DB - NE) $1,600,000 (2014) Jared Cook Jr. (TE - Ten) $480,000 (2012)
No comparison what-so-ever in what was given up...
Which leaves Mendenhall, Washington and Misi in exchange for;
Cecil Shorts (WR - Jac) $612,000 (2013) RFA DeAngelo Levy (LD - Det) $2,400,000 (2015) Monterio Hardesty (RB - Cle) $405,000 (2013) Browns 2013 3rd Round Pick
On top of that, Pat's gain an additional benefit of cap relief at Skins expense.
Not taking anything away from the trade offer, but I think if Osi was removed (or Fletcher in place of Osi), or perhaps a 1st rd pick added it would make for a great trade...

Fletcher cant be added due to cap, thats the reason Anderson was included. Got to make cap work as well

If CJ value remains so high then why was bills/bengals only teams in 2weeks to inquire? I contacted Pat's about deal. Talking about a 800k 1year RB. People should be knocking down my door if he's still so great. Our fantasy season is about half over and I think I've endured enough of him. You think RBs that suck value is so high then make me a offer better than Hernandez. I got shut down when I asked bills for Gresham. This stinks of a AFC team vetoing a trade cause he thinks this trade will hurt his Super Bowl chances. I don't think Landon even read my acceptance. Of course hell claim he did. Writes a 10 paragraph veto and only hits on the reason he vetoes for a paragraph and his best reason is cause "IMO CJ will get back on track". That's horse shit. Yeah, any week now he's going to break that 18 game slump he's in. And dont tell me about the garbage time game he had last week after the Texans already had 2 pick 6's. be honest, have you actually watched CJ this year? Or is this trade getting vetoed cause of what he didi 2 years ago. if so, that is hot garbage. 2010's CJ2k is long gone. My roster is chalked full of 1 year deals. I need to be able to make trades to benefit my 2013 season. I agree pats wins this trade for 2012. But who wins the trade in 2013? I can't franchise all my one year guys. Really tired of TAB picking and over analyzing every damn trade, looking for a reason to use there damn vetoes. Think I've been here long enough. I think I log in every damn day. Pretty sure I've earned the right to do my own trades. Explain how this trade upsets the balance rather than ALWAYS saying "we'll IMO this or IMO that." No one gives a shit what your opinion is. Just explain how the ENTIRE league is affected by the trade.

I did enquire about CJ0k and Bowe, but I made it clear that if I was giving the best deal, I wanted the Skins deal done first.
I think that Chris gets the better of me in the deal considering I am getting 3 1yr players and giving only 1. It helps both teams get stronger and achieve their aims, I dont see how you can Veto for what Chris is reciviing in the deal

Trade approved. Being a 3-way trade, and with Fitz having played this week, players will be traded on Tues. Oct 9th after the conclusion of this weeks games.
Good trade guys

Chris, that's just my opinion, obviously we all think differently. Sorry that my vote upset you, but we don't all value players the same. Same with the Mendenhall trades that got vetoed. The value of a running back is very high. As for just looking for a reason for using our vetoes, that's not accurate. If I had just vetoed for the point of vetoing I wouldn't have written paragraphs for my vote. In all honesty I analyzed the trade for a while and gave what I think was a fair vote. And it's not like it was a long way from being approved, I was very close to approving it I just felt like you should get one more piece if we value running backs so high.
So all in all, sorry you felt that way about the vote, but it's approved now. I certainly see how it helps your team man. Good luck!
