It's not like everybody had the chance to draft Luck or RGIII or Richardson, and really it would have been much easier to trade for a 4th round pick than to get a top 3 pick, heck anybody could have thrown a future third to the chiefs and grabbed him at 4.27 and the chiefs probably would have snatched that up in a heartbeat.

It's all moot because rules say only those eligible for the most recent draft are eligible for this draft, so those who enter supplemental drafts are not eligible. Now we just need to decide if we want to run our own supplemental, or just have those players go UDFA.

They go to UDFA, Titans just went over their cap limit with their last pick

They go to UDFA, Titans just went over their cap limit with their last pick sure did. They will lose their last draft pick to UDFA and be assessed a 30% penalty...

Sure ya did. I didn't have either of my picks at the end of last year. And I'm pretty positive the Top 4 picks all changed hands at least once.

I waived a player before I picked. That should have cleared enough space. Correct?

Hmm... Good question. I know the way it used to be you had to wait 48 hours for the salary to be off your block, but that was recently changed, but I am not sure what the effective date on that was...

That was changed? Never seen anything about that changing.

Yeah I asked bengals bout it. Said I was sposed to have him waived 48hrs prior. Tried playing by the book but didn't realize I had to waive 48hrs prior. Wasnt trying to scam the cap. Just wasnt aware of the 48hr waiver period. Got the death penalty for doing 56mph in a 55mph. My fault tho. Is the 30% penalty off the $32,000 I went over cap?

Lost my draft pick and $69,000 for going $32,000 over. And I tried doing it right by waiving before my pick. Thanks to the hall monitor sitting back waiting for my pick to bust me out rather than clearly seeing I tried getting under cap and maybe giving me a heads up that I still would be over cap do to the 48hr waiting period. Still my fault. Hope you get a gold star tho.

Titans are unlucky though, just went over and have to pay 1.069m in penalties meaning they have another cut to make. I thought someone had told him due to chat a while back.

It's fine. Just sucked digging to find a rook worth drafting that low then losing him and $$ on a pretty minor infraction. I been here long enough. Shoulda known the rule myself rather than relying in someone to notify me before my pick. Nice catch on my "bad" cap management and poor knowledge of the waiver rule.

From what Bears are saying I dont know the waiver rule either. Haha
