Resign at $950,000 for two years. Not a bad option, hopefully can get some moderate playing time wherever he lands, but torn ACL last year doesn't help his value.

I think if this was a one year contract, it would more accurately reflect a justifiable re-signing regarding the questions surrounding Hightower and any possible future performance. Not knit-picking, but truly believes it falls in the least $200,000 short in an attempt to get an extra year out of him. There are other factors that could possibly offset, that being; Redskins backfield situation, and possibly less than a full season (this year) of capable productivity.
