Redskins offer JoLonn Dunbar a 2 year extension worth $1,000,000 a year.
Dunbar preformed well last year, but signed with St. Louis and is now playing on a weaker team.

Veto (0-1)
As I have stated in other lb's tenders, a starting lb is good for upwards of 70 tackles and worth more than 1 mil.

New team and the uncertainty that comes with that. He may get get a good role but for two years I am okay at 1M, approve (1-1)

I'm on board with the bears here. What does weaker team have to do with IDP? Weaker teams defense is on the field more often. That's a good thing.

Approve (2-2). Agree with Seahawks, plus, if the market thought he was going to be a world-beater, there would have been RFA bids.

Nobody is giving up a first for him. 2nd Round tender would have been more realistic and drawn some interest. IMHO, the two are linked. A valuable player is one the market would pay higher and/or give up additional value for. A not-valuable player would not be paid as high or merit high value in a trade. So, for me, if no one is willing to give up a first, then he is not worth a first. If he is not worth a first, then he need not be paid like someone who is worth a first.

No one is saying he isn't worth a 1st. They are saying he isn't worth the first and a big contract. A good player doesn't have to be overpaid in order to be a good player. As a good player he is worth more than 1 mil

A new team doesn't necessarily equate to less production or playing time. I agree with Bears and Texans. I'm sure there are equitable comparisons in pay/production for the quality of this LB.
