Lower than I would like to see for a young WR with upside. He could take over a WR 3 spot this year, or next. That being said at least the contract is a short term deal where Jets would have to pay up to keep him in 2 yrs.

I think this guy has slipped under the radar due to being a slot receiver (who happened to be 2nd in wr's last year) on a team traditionally known for running the football. Even so, he was still upward of 40 receptions last year. Far from being an elite, but also far from being just a flyer as well. Jets can do better on their offer.

I'm going to go ahead and approve this. I'm not going to compare to the market, and this is appropriate for Parker to be getting for a contract to play. Plus as pointed out, it's 2 years so he's taking the shorter investment.
