2011: After a disappointing 8-4,good for 2nd in the NFCN, the Bears were eliminated in the wildcard round of the playoffs by the Washington Redskins.
2012: The Bears took a step back in what was expected to be a year where they moved one step closer to their ultimate goal of a championship. Finishing with a 6-6 record insult was added to injury when it was realized the bears could have been a solid 9-3 had they started their best lineup each week. Injuries also played a role as core offensive players went down early in the year and never regained form.
