This is the front office of the Denver Broncos team.

Anything PR related will be posted here. Also, feel free to post anything you would like to communicate to the Broncos in this thread. (If you would like to talk about our last game, a rivalry, guarantee a win, whatever, feel free. )


Owner Info

I picked the Broncos because they are my favorite team, and always have been. I liked Elway and I most like watching football in open stadiums in bad weather, preferably snow. I am a Tebow fan, so all is well right now. Also, in our inaugural season, Denver has the 2nd overall draft pick, so thats a big plus. I always liked Shanahan, so I find myself wanting to pull for the Redskins some now. I live in Western North Carolina, so that also makes me a Panthers fan by default. (which made an odd turn of events for me, when John Fox went from Carolina to Denver!) I am the type of football fan that although I have the teams I pull for, and the teams I hate, I will watch almost every game I can over each weekend, and enjoy them all.

Playoff Hopes

2013/2014 - won last game, would've made wild card with a San Diego loss in last regular season game.
2015/2016 - lost to Jacksonville in wild card round. plagued with injuries, no WRs.

2012 Draft Commentary -

With the 1.08 pick, the Broncos selected Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma St, CLE.

Going into the draft, we knew we needed a QB. At the moment, our only QB of any sort was Tebow. Now we would absolutely love it if Tebow beat out Sanchez and became a starter, but we are also realistic. So needing a starting QB, we figured the only chances we would have at 1.08 would be Tannehill or Weeden. The only thing we thought would sway us away from QB would be if a stud WR was still available. Surprisingly, when our pick came around, ALL of the stud WRs on our list were still available. But after thinking it over and wrestling with it, we decided to stay with our original intention of Weeden at QB. Starting QBs are too hard to come by in this league. Tannehill may prove to be better in the long run, but the Browns are leaning towards starting Weeden from day one, and that fit our needs better.

With the 2.08 pick, the Broncos selected Demario Davis, LB, Arkansas St, NYJ

Our second greatest need on the team was another LB. So going into the draft we had QB targeted for the first round, and LB targeted for the second. We watched as the LBs on our list were picked. As our pick came close, we had Wagner, Davis, and Perry all in a virtual tie. We had a slight edge on Wagner, but the Ravens traded up and landed two picks ahead of us and took him. Davis was next on our list, with a slight edge over Perry. Quite simply, we felt that Davis may take a little longer to fully develop, but would be the better choice for the long run.

With the 3.08 pick, Broncos selected Lavon Brazil, WR, Ohio, IND

At this point, we had no real pressing need that we felt would cause us to select one certain position. We could use another QB, RB, TE, or DE/DT, in that order, but we also didn't feel that there was talent left in those positions that justified this pick at this point in the draft. This draft is chock full of WR talent, and there was still a few good ones left. We have a fairly strong WR group, but Lloyd is franchised, and will only get more expensive each year. We like Brazil's chances in Indy. He is fast, he should compete for the outside WR position. Indy's WRs, other than Wayne, have not impressed us much, without Manning. Wayne is getting older, and may only have a couple more years, himself. We hope Brazil will gel with Luck, and soon start opposite Wayne, and eventually take Wayne's place, and take over for the Bronco's when Lloyd gets too much to afford.
