I believe Joe sent a message to Greg letting him know he would be unable to post his tenders ontime due to real life things and was grant a short extension

Veto (0-1)
*See...Mark Andrews ($7 Mil); Henry Hunter ($5 Mil); Ertz ($7 Mil)
Given the rise in cap, Hunter represents an anomaly imo. I would believe $7 Mil is closer to what would be required.

Approve 1-2. Hurst ain't Mark Andrews yet if he ever will be.

Veto (1-3)
Hurst may never be Andrews, but he was the #9 scoring TE last season and tendered at a 1st round. The absolute minimum that would be acceptable is 5m, however I do agree that an offer should be looking around 6m and towards 7m.

I didn't think there was a rise in cap but respect the votes. I'll resubmit an offer at 4 years 5.5 million dollars

I didn't think there was a rise in cap but respect the votes. I'll resubmit an offer at 4 years 5.5 million dollars Just to be clear on my comment about the cap increase...while we did not approve a raise this year, there has been a continual increase for the past several years preceding. Despite the raise, some GM's seem a little reluctant to pay players a corresponding increase in salary. Additionally, sometimes player salaries are distorted because the condition under which the player was acquired isn't always clear and history isn't always taken into account. For ex: Ertz and Kelce are salaried lower despite being top TE's because two 1st round picks were surrendered in their acquisition. Whereas, the top TE last year (Kittle) was re-signed at $13.8 Mil. Waller was tagged at just over $7 Mil, and would fetch two 1st round picks in addition to salary. Outside the top TE's, point production drop off is relatively small...Hurst was stuck behind Andrews last year. As mentioned by the Jags, although Hurst may not be an Andrews, his salary represents a top-end floor much like Hunter represents a low-end in RFA. When comparing the average of the two with what could be paid through FA it represents a very nice Hometown discount. Approve (2-0)
