Who'd have thought missing UFA to start the year the 49ers would find a way into playoffs? Well played, missing FA may not be a bad tactic, build through the draft and UDFA and you don't overpay for fading talent for 4 years

Ended up overpaying for expensive bottom end QB via trade just to have legal lineup.
