Still a lot of competitive races going on in both conferences. Here's where it stands at the completion of Week 10.
Current NFC Seeding Race
Division Championships 1) Detroit Lions 9-1 (Common Game Win %) 2) Washington Redskins 9-1 3) Los Angeles Rams 8-2 4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-4 (Strength of Victory)
Wildcard Teams 5) Carolina Panthers 6-4 (H2H) 6) New Orleans Saints 6-4
Still in the hunt 7) Seattle Seahawks 5-5 (Common Game Win %) 8) Minnesota Vikings 5-5 (H2H) 9) Green Bay Packers 5-5
In the NFC, the Lions, Redskins and Rams have all cinched their respective divisions. The NFC South is still a mad scramble with the Buccaneers, Panthers and Saints all tied at 6-4 for the Division lead. These division rivals all play each other during the final two weeks of the season so that could let the Seahawks, Vikings or Packers sneak into one of the final Wildcard spots.
Current AFC Seeding Race
Division Championships 1) Miami Dolphins 10-0 (Strength of Victory) 1) Baltimore Ravens 10-0 3) Los Angeles Chargers 9-1 4) Tennessee Titans 8-2
Wildcard Teams 5) Denver Broncos 6-4 (Strength of Victory) 6) Buffalo Bills 6-4 (Common Game Win %)
Still in the hunt 7) Pittsburgh Steelers 6-4 8) Cleveland Browns 5-5
In the AFC, the Ravens, Dolphins, Chargers and Titans have all cinched their respective division races. There is still a mad scramble for the two Wildcard spots between the Broncos, Bills, Steelers and Browns. The last two weeks of the season will sort it out.
CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE DIVISION WINNERS AND GOOD LUCK TO THE CONTENDERS IN THE FINAL TWO WEEKS.

AFC #1 seed isn't right. Division record isn't sorted by number of wins but Win % which is 100% ONLY if we were in the same division, which we aren't.

Seeding among the Division Winners for the playoffs is based 1st on Overall Record. I don't care whether use use wins and losses or percentage, it all comes out the same. Dolphins and Ravens are tied at 10-0 or 100%. 2nd tiebreaker is head-to-head record, but the Dolphins & Ravens don't play this year so that doesn't count. 3rd tie-breaker is Divisional Winning Percentage. It is a tie-breaker for seeding of the Divisional Winners. The Dolphins & Ravens are tied here too, with 100%. I have corrected the standing above. Essentially the Dolphins and the Ravens are tied for the top two seeds in the AFC right now. We'll work through all of the final tie-breakers after the next two weeks games.
