While we are in rebuild mode here in Carolina, we never purposely throw seasons away. I currently find myself without a starting safety, and while Allen is not the best fantasy producer, he gives me something for the current season. Trumaine is tough to lose, definitely one of the best fantasy production CB's year in and year out, but I needed the safety to avoid weekly zeros on the score card. This trade fulfills bot of my needs, its gives me a player in the immediate to address a hole, while at the same time gives me a small pick upgrade to continue to rebuild for the future.
