The Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a trade.
The Bengals will send : S Tony Jefferson (BAL) 2.3M (2017), 2.3M (2018), 2.3M (2019)
To the Falcons for : CB E.J. Gaines (BUF) 1.6M (2017), 1.6M (2018), 1.6M (2019), 1.6M (2020) 2018 4th (ATL) 2019 4th (ATL)
2017 Cap hit +/- .70M
Proposed/Accepted on MFL
The Falcons accept with post. I really needed another safety since Malik Hooker was put on IR, I have depth at CB so this was a move I had to make. I like Tony Jefferson and he will really help my team. Thanks to the Bengals for the deal. Best of luck on the rebuild. |

While Jefferson fits the long-term aim of our rebuild, collecting a CB and a couple of more lotteries may help facilitate a faster turn around time for becoming a competitor. We wish Jefferson much luck in his new home and as much to the Falcons.
