QB Jacoby Brissett (IND) $400,000 (2018) RFA
2019 Vikings 4th Round Pick

Buffalo Bills trade:
Bills 2018 2nd Round Pick
Bills 2019 3rd Round Pick

The Bills had Carson Palmer go down last weekend. While we have his back-up Stanton on the bench, We're locked into a tight battle for the AFC East and feel that Brissett could give us a little more fire power at QB.   Thanks Scott for the easy deal and good luck with the picks.

Minnesota confirms their acceptance with this post. When control was assumed of the Vikings this was a player we inherited with little clear path to playing time and no real value; he's now shown what he can do and could well play out the season at a minimum and possibly find a permanent home next year as a starter based on those performances. With Wilson under control for another two years though we feel that the picks will serve our rebuild better at this time. Thanks to Greg and best of luck to the Bills organisation.
