GM's,
As a league we have worked hard and long to build this league, which includes having exercised a LOT of patience with GM's throughout the years...allowing for a relatively large learning curve. It is the longest standing 32-Team Dynasty League I know, and has served as the spring-board to many others.
Approaching the 2nd half of the season - I believe it's critical to address the seriousness of GM's to continually seek to be a competitor in this league. Building a team is a year long commitment. This is difficult to address, in part because we have a great group of GM's which proportionately outweighs the dead-weight. They are are competitive in spirit and in deed, and it is they who make this league great.
Thus it much easier to address those who do not really possess a competitive spirit...at least as compared to the standards we are continually striving to obtain.
Time and time again, the issue of fair competition is raised and overlooked by the few.
With that, it is apparent that some teams are content with setting their line-ups with players who do not play at all. Over the past few weeks I have set a few line-ups, still giving leeway to the GM where permissible. Some because the GM has failed to submit a line-up, and some because the GM has failed to set his best line-up. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Listen up...Fair competition also means EARNESTLY TRYING TO WIN EACH WEEK!
Now,that being said, this off-season we will be looking for competitors who WANT to compete.
As of now;
we are actively looking for an owner to replace the Lions organisation;
The Baltimore Ravens are now on notice (they continue fail to set forth their best line-up each week); and
The Arizona Cardinals are now on notice (content on fielding players who do not play);
Also I believe the Steelers, whom has only recently made strides, belongs on this list.
Tennessee Titans are now on notice (content on fielding players who do not play)
If these teams want to compete...we're going to have to see some effort in this second half of the season.
