Welcome to Front Office of the Cincinatti Bengals!
And thank you for visiting our page.
It's been said that the Bengals aren't a threat to make the 2011 playoffs and possibly win the championship. Where are your "big name players?" they ask.
As a completely new organization (in terms of being committed to re-building and establishing a dynasty), we have and will continue to make the sacrifices necessary to build a championship team. We will be competitive now, and will continue to be competitive in the future.
Although we have a long way to go, we have made significant strides since the start of this season (2011). Believe it or not, at this time and moment, we now feel we have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs this year. What do you think?
Our office is always open to discuss Trades, Acquisitions, Contracts, Waivers, or any other matter related to the NFL and its associated teams, including any suggestions and comments you may have.

Keeping up with the Bengals
In the beginning of the season, the Cincinatti Bengals didn't know what to expect. We knew we wanted to build a competitive team, but really didn't have an idea of how long it would take.
With most of the hard work (and decisions) out of the way however, the Bengals are finally ready to begin their 2011 season. Most of the decisions that were made weren't at all easy, but we felt they were necessary in order to accomplish our set goals. Our next goal is to win Week 1 vs. division rival Cleveland Browns. Of course in order to do that, then our WR situation would have to fall perfectly in place. As of right now it's just a guessing game as to who will actually start and who the ending starters will be as the season progresses.
"Overall I think teams are going to be a bit surprised at what we were able to do and how far we will actually go this year. But the greatest part about all of this, is that we are only going to get better from here ", says Franchise Fantasy Owner Darryl.

Latest News
The Cincinatti Bengals have currently suspended all activities in relation to trade and FA acquisitions pending investigation on allegations of being over their 2011 cap limit. If found guilty, they could be liable to pay a $1,000,000 (one-million) dollar fine. Although they are fully cooperating with authorities in this matter, the Bengals maintain that they are innocent, and have remained within the leagues set guidelines and rules.
Fantasy Franchise Owner Darryl Robinson says it's all a misunderstanding. "Well, I can understand. We are a team on a mission to build now and for the future. And with no disrespect towards any other organization, we probably reflect the actions of the real NFL more so than any other fantasy team in our league. That means making real roster cuts to get down to 50 active players. So the fact that we had to waive so many players within a few days of the deadline is enough to confuse anybody. But that's why we keep accurate records."
The records he is speaking of was recently modified on the Bengals Roster Thread and Transactions Thread to help clear-up any confusion. "Well, everything was already there in place. We just modified it a little bit so that the numbers and players add up and coincide with the numbers we have on MFL, which is also up-to-date", says Darryl. In any case, the Bengals are hoping that this situation gets straightened out soon so that they can get back to business.

**Investigative Update
Although the Cincinatti Bengals are still currently under investigation, they received permission to resume recently halted business matters that pertain to the waiving and trading of players, and the acquisition of FA's. Both sides continue to work towards solving this "Cap" issue.
Team Update
The Cincinatti Bengals lost a close game to the Cleveland Browns in their division opener. Team owner Darryl had this to say. "The Browns played a good a game, and I'll have to congratulate them in their win, but I think our players played a good game and they have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of." The opening day loss places the Bengals one game behind the Browns and Ravens, who also won their opening game over the Pittsburg Steelers.

Week 2
After a disappointing loss in Week 2 of the season to the Pittsburg Steelers, the Cincinatti Bengals will be making a few roster changes. "We feel we have the right pieces to be competitive, it's just a matter of finding those players who will consistently perform on a high-level on a weekly basis. That's what we need to do, along with getting them in a position where they can make plays."
The loss is their second in as many weeks and places them at the bottom of their division. With the Baltimore Ravens up next, they'll have to perform better than they have been if they want to stay in this race.

Week 3
The Bengals continue their downward spiral by falling to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have a pretty good team, and played a good game. But it really wasn't all bad for the Bengals. At least according to fantasy Owner Darryl. "Well, the facts are we should have won the first two games and we just happened to lose this game to a better a team. Not to say that we aren't improving. We got back to scoring after faltering last week, and I believe our receivers will be stepping their game up as the season goes on."
They'll face the Pittsburg Steelers for their second match-up between the two teams, and are now in a must win situation if they're going to compete for the division championship. The Cleveland Browns are 3-0 and currently lead the division.

Patriots Owner Daniel Rogers sai this about the Bengals this week "They may as well pack it in now and start playing the Andrew Luck game. To be totally honest they should be 2-1 but they just dont seem like they want it. They will be lucky to hit the .250 this year, let alone .500 and making a wildcard challenge. I am just unfortuanate that the schedule didnt let us face them."

Recent comments made by the Patriots organization about the Bengals packing it in and playing the (Andrew) "Luck" game has put a smile on Bengals owner Darryl Ray's face. "While I can respect the Patriots thoughts on the matter, I think they know like we know, that they're hoping we don't make it to the playoffs".

Week 4
The Bengals have finally ended their losing streak by defeating the Pittsburg Steelers in game 4. Hopefully this is the beginning of a really long winning streak. Cincinatti will indeed need one if they are to even make it as potential contenders in the playoffs this year. The next two games will tell a lot, and could play a crucial role in deciding whether or not they'll even remain in contention. At the moment, facing the Chicago Bears in game 5, they will be without their starting QB. Game 6 against the Miami Dolphins doesn't fair any better as they will be without both of their starting RB's.
Cincinatti is now 1-3 in their division and overall, 2 games behind both the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens.

Week 5
The Cincinatti Bengals lost another close game to the Chicago Bears, unable to gain ground in the playoff race. Playing without a QB, they are now 1-4, as they remain at least 2 games behind AFC hopefuls. While they were able to acquire a QB (Mark Sanchez) before the start of the week, they were unable to clear waivers in time to start him for the game. Being able to start him would have meant a close win for the Bengals.
They will face the Miami Dolphins in Week 6.
Franchise owner Darryl Ray says, "Let's just hope we end the first half of the season on a winning note, and play the second half a lot better than we have been playing".

Week 6
A Week 6 win against the Miami Dolphins gives the Cincinatti Bengals their second win of the season. However with both the Ravens and Browns winning they were unable to gain any ground for the division title. In fact out of the last two games in which they were missing key players in which to compete, they were unable to gain ground.
On a bright note, they were able to gain ground in the wild card race on the Buffalo Bills, who they will face this upcoming week.

Week 7
Week 7 proved to be an eventful week for the Bengals (3-4), who are now just one game behind both the Bills (4-3) and the Browns (4-3). With Cincy's defeat of the Buffalo Bills in their bye week, and the Cleveland Browns falling to the Denver Broncos, Cincinatti was able to climb a game closer to gaining a foothold in the wildcard race.
"Our destiny is in our own hands" says Bengals fantasy franchise owner Darryl Ray. With only 5 games remaining in the season, and 10 of 16 of the AFC's teams remaining in contention, a lot has to happen in order for Cincinatti to make the playoffs.
Important games of interest for Week 8 games feature; Raiders/Jets, Chargers/Bills, Titans/Browns, Steelers/Chiefs, and of course Bengals/Jaguars.
The Bengals have now won 2 consecutive games in a row, and 3 out of their last 4.

Week 8
The Cincinatti Bengals improved their record to 4-4 by defeating the Jacksonsville Jaguars in Week 8 of regular Fantasy Football action. After a slow 1-4 start, they have now won 3 consecutive games in a row, and 4 out of their last 5. with the playoff picture becoming clearer, and only 4 games left in the regular season, they remain in contention for a wildcard spot.
Franchise owner Darryl Ray says it will be interesting how the season plays out. Baltimore is expected to win the division, along with the Patriots and Titans respectively winning their divisions. That leaves 2 remaining playoff spots once the winner is decided in the AFC West. The Oakland Raiders are currently leading the division at 6-2, with the Chargers and Chiefs one game behind at 5-3. The Buffalo Bills are also 5-3 and are one game behind the New England Patriots.
Next up for the Bengals are the Chiefs (5-3), who recently defeated the Pittsburg Steelers (3-5) and are currently ahead of the Bengals in the wildcard race. "Kansas City isn't a team we take for granted, despite the fact they are without their top RB and a formidable receiving corps."
With the Patriots an easy favorite to win over the Texans this upcoming week, the Browns/Raiders, Chargers/Steelers, Bills/Seahawks, and Ravens/Broncos head the list for other games of interest in Week 8.
Here's a look at the current playoff picture:
Division Leaders:
Baltimore Ravens 7-1 New England Patriots 6-2 Oakland Raiders 6-2 Tennessee Titans 5-3
Wildcard contenders:
Buffalo Bills 5-3 San Diego Chargers 5-3 Kansas City Chiefs 5-3 Cleveland Browns 4-4 Cincinatti Bengals 4-4

I believe even though the Texans is a weak team, and the worst in the league. We cant underestimate them. However I am going to be putting plenty of my backroom staff out this week to scout our possible playoff contenders. That includes the Bengals who I believe has a big chance to squeeze into the #6 playoff spot in the AFC He also said he thinks that the division will finish like this Division Leaders:Baltimore Ravens 10-2New England Patriots 10-2Oakland Raiders 9-3Tennessee Titans 7-5Wildcard contenders:Buffalo Bills 8-4San Diego Chargers 7-5Kansas City Chiefs 6-6Cleveland Browns 7-5Cincinatti Bengals 7-5That means that the #6 playoff spot would be decided on divisonal standings, and then conference (If applicable). Then finally on Points Scored!

Week 9
With 5 key players missing from their line-up this week, the Cincinatti Bengals were able to squeeze out a tight win against a resilient Kansas City Chiefs team. The win gave them their 4th in a row, improving their overall record to 5-4.
Undefeated thus far in the second half of the season, they will face the division champion Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 for the second of their divisional round match-ups. Baltimore won the 1st contest between the two teams, but this time around the Bengals know they have no room for error left if they are to secure a playoff spot. Owner Darryl Ray says, "We pretty much know that we are in a must-win situation from this point out. In fact we have been for at least the last 4 games. And with the starting line-up pretty much sorted out, we're feeling pretty confident we can do our part by winning the remaining 3 games. It basically boils down to being and staying healthy."
To boot, the Bengals received an extra boost of confidence knowing Ryan Matthews is expected to play next week. In addition, TE Jermaine Gresham and LB Rey Maualuga are expected to practice this week as well. The return of all 3 players plus Joseph Addai to the line-up would be an even huger boost for the Bengals in their quest.
Other Week 10 games of interest: Chargers/Raiders, Bills/Jets
