I agree with bears. It's a bad trade for ravens but he agreed to it. It's not a bad enough trade that it upsets balance of the league. It's a bad trade but that shouldn't make it vetoable. Just because ravens changed his mind after reading what TAB had to say about it shouldn't get him out of it either. It's his team, not TABs. Maybe we need to hurry up and get the probation period for new owners.

Personally I feel this trade would have upset the balance...
Sometimes, upsetting the balance involves much more than the mere "losing" or "winning" end of a trade. The GM may suffer the consequences should he stay and play. However the organization itself , should a GM choose to leave, would be left raped without main pieces to move or to build around in efforts to rebuild.

Hmm... It really is interesting to see the value different people put on trades haha. I thought a 1st and a young wr on a cheap contract was decent value for a franchise tagged hb.

Had it been approved I would have still stayed and dealt with my decision.

If a trade is going to be vetoed shouldn't it be a little more of a unanimous decision? I know we've done this before and I'm not going to get fired up about this but seems like there are more people who think this trade is acceptable than don't. Ravens lost this trade but calling it a "rape" is pretty extreme. This trade does not flip a organization upside down. If ray rice was still under a descent contract then maybe it would of deserved some attention but ray rice at franchise cost I just don't see why this gets vetoed. All trades shouldn't have to be equal. Some winners and some losers.

And some look like losers for one side but later they are the winners. I agree with you Titans about the out come of the trade, but the first to 3 votes is also a fair way of deciding IMO. Just wish the decisions weren't based on an owners thoughts after he had read other owners opinions of the trade.

If the commish or majority believe that the trade should go through, I wouldn't complain. I just don't want to get a free pass just because I'm new to dynasty and I changed my mind afterwards.

I agree the deal was vetoed because the owner realized he made a mistake. Not because the deal itself i think the deal is pretty fair tbh, just look at what bears is saying.

I agree that we need to get that probation period up and running. There have been wayyy to many instances of new owners making bad trades. However I don't see this trade as absolutely terrible. 49ers win in my opinion, but its not complete trade rape. Rice is going to cost a whole lot of money to continue to franchise and Williams could turn himself around(although I doubt it). He should still be a WR3 on a cheap contract regardless. I think if the RD 1 pick would have been slightly higher or another pick was thrown in this would have been a fair trade. Just kind of depends on your opinion of mike williams as well.

Can TAB be over ruled if enough people think the trade was fair enough. Or is TAB be all end all?

did Tab vote on the trade itself? or they vote because the owner wanted out.... thats 2 different parts, because the trade was pretty fair itself

The trade may have been fair in your eyes, but in 4 of the TABs eyes it wasnt
