I tried to back off TAB on my last comment and I dont mean to be attacking them. I understand they do a lot in the league. "Im sorry for any direct attack at them" I also understand that ANY position of power will be scrutinized. I am definetly guilty of attcking them and getting heated over this. once again Im sorry!
However why do they have a absolute power to veto? If 10 teams come out and say that they disagree with a veto...how can that be ignored? Thats over 31% percent of the league. Especially if there are only 3 votes in favor of the veto
Just saying there should at least be some type of appeal process if that much of the league disagrees. 10 teams is pretty extreme and would most likely never happen.

Only the people that are pissed about this trade getting vetoed or tab members are posting their thoughts on here. Had I been a tab member I would have vetoed this trade and I agree with TAB 100% on it. Eagles trade didn't get vetoed but as someone pointed out it was damn close as was this trade. TAB will make mistakes, but don't think that just because no one else is speaking up that everyone thinks the trade should have been accepted. If falcons would have defended his stance this trade would have been approved no problems. GM's that have been here the whole time know that if both people defend the trade then it always gets approved as long as the GM's make some sense in their reasoning. That is the difference between the HOU/PHI trade and this trade. Philly defended her stance and gave reasoning to why she wanted to do the trade. I think if falcons had given reasoning then this trade would have been approved unanimously, but it would be pretty hard for the falcons to make sense and defend this trade. If falcons said they think Ogletree, and wynn are up and comers and He believed Greg Jones would be manning the middle for the giants next year then this trade would have been approved no problem.

Im on board with whatever. In the future it should atleast be mandatory for teams to post why they are doing the trade before any vetos or approvals come in. Other teams should also hold off on trade discussion until the trade is final. The teams actually involved in the trades opinion on the trade should be held higher than the TABs opinion though since they are the GM of that team. If whatever team that was giving Shipley didn't see him as PPR gold but a TAB member does you shouldn't be able to put your opinion above the team trading him.

Uhg... new people. lol. It's not mandatory and it doesn't need to be mandatory that you post why you are doing the trade. If you want the trade to be accepted then post why. If for some stupid reason you don't want to post a reason then that's your decision. If it's a tiny trade or a no brainer then you don't have to put a reason, although I would still recommend it. That's how it has always been in this league and everyone that has been here knows that. I don't think it is posted in the rules that you should explain your trade but I guess it needs to be. Non-tab members are also allowed to discuss trades whenever they damn please. TAB are representatives of the entire league and they should take non-tab members opinions into consideration, which I believe they do a very good job of.

One more thing... I think it would be a really good idea to have 8 tab members. 1 from each division in the league and they should be voted on by everyone, based on performance, trade history, knowledge, and the frequency of log-ins or dedication to the league.

What does being new have anything to do with anything? A year from now my opinions on all this will be the same. I've gone against vetos in every league I've ever been in
Can teams that already post that they accept a deal back out before TABs approval?

From my knowledge... no not unless the other trading party agrees to let the person back out.

You've been here a week Chris and you are trying to tell us how the league should be run and what changes need to be made, when you don't even have a clue what your talking about. You accuse me in a pm of wanting to be a tab member soooo bad, when every tab member and admin knows that I've never even as much as inquired about becoming a tab member. Not to mention you come into the league and show off your extensive FF knowledge by making a horrible Revis trade, then you try to tell us how the league should be run. You've done nothing but start shit since the day you arrived.

I fine with losing the revis trade. Even tho That trade is to be determined who won. But me making a bad trade because of lack of knowledge on the scoring system has nothing to do with my opinion on bad TAB decisions.
I could have asked TAB to veto that deal and used the excuse that I didn't knw the scoring system. But I agreed to a trade so I will live with my bad descison.
I'm officially done talking about this. You guys can carry on. Sorry this blew up so bad. Please no one else mention Chris or titans in any more of this so I can stay quite.

Sam has been on and made no comment I PM'ed Sam (Falcons) and we decided that the trade is dead. This does not mean that we do not need to make some changes. That is for another (although alot is in this one) thread!!! Veto the trade in trades and we will all move on!!!

I wouldn't mind the idea of the appeal process idea brought up. Maybe have 24 or 48 hours after the trade being the appeal process. Have 3 non-tab users veto the trade and it doesn't go through. But then that would diminish the power of the TAB. Either way, I'm good with whatever happens. Also, brought up earlier, I agree that the TAB should be expanded. I do a system in my NBA league where we have a 'division officer' of each division. The team has to be in that division, and they represent the division in some staff only polls, and moderate activity in the division, and make sure all rosters and transactions are up to date in their division. Then we have a few users who are TAB only. DO's are automatically TAB, so then you have about 10 or 11 TAB if you include TAB only members. What would you guys think of that system? It works pretty nicely in my league.

That would be way too many TAb members, we have 8 already and that is 1/4 of the league represented
