lol but trading a starting RB with 2 years left and RFA status + a top rookie DL for a DL is ok? Cheap shot, but here it is, owning a Pats RB is like having 0 on the Roulette wheel, totally high reward, but little chance of actually hitting, id much rather have picks to draft guys i like and in better situations then a Pats RB, Bill is just a bitch when it comes to which RB will start when. Thats all i got for ya Raid.

I would like to hear a more thorough explanation first by Panthers before voting. He says he is getting younger potential when 2 of the 3 players he is receiving are older than Ayers. That sums it up for me. LOL. Says hes getting younger, but the players hes getting are older than Ayers. Im glad someone else noticed that too.

I don't see anything real earth shattering, just a bunch of potential being traded around. I'll approve (1-0) If only potential is being traded then that makes it even worse. Ayers is 30th PPG for LB and 129th overall. You cant call that potential unless he is going to be a top 5 guy

Wait, only top 5 potential guys truly have "potential" now?
Way confused.

No, I'm saying that is if Ayers this year has potential then him playing at his full level must be a top 5 LB.

Meaning Ayers has moved out of potential status to being a verified stud.

Thanks for the clarification. For a minute I thought you were saying you have to be top 5 potential to have potential. That's crazy talk.
But as far as potential goes, I still think Ayers has more.

Im no longer surprised about how some trades get passed in this league. Thats why there are like 6 teams that no one wants to own as they are completely devoid of talent. Its amazing how the Panthers last year barely missed on SB and was part of the BEST playoff matchup and now look?

I was talking in general as well at the degree of bad trades that get passed. There have been numerous of trades that got to 1-2 and still passed. Just saying its not surprising anymore.

Completely disagree.
I'm glad the TAB approves marginal trades. There's a winner and loser in every trade. We shouldn't punish teams for being able to extract value. If everything was fair and equal, we could just go play checkers and call it a day.
Part of the fun of being a GM is trying to build a team given everyone has the same constraints. If it was watered down so that trades could only be made if the points per game being traded were within 1 of each other (so that every trade was equal), I think a lot less people would play.
Let people speculate. Let people be right. Let people be wrong.
Just dont let them cheat...
Keep it up TAB, I think you're doing a great job.

You cant call that potential unless he is going to be a top 5 guy haha...that's even worse?...Draughn is currently ranked 37th among RB's in PPG - so not understanding your point. In fact as a 3rd string RB he is on par with the likes of Steven Jackson and Jonathon Stewart and out-performing both Michael Bush and Pierre Thomas. Guess the fact that Panthers would like to have a RB (with future potential) and is currently producing at above 11 PPG isn't a real concern for them. Never mind that they would like to take the chance to improve upon their RB situation. What's really amazing is that some are choosing to look at the LB position (when convenient) as though it holds more value than the RB position.
