He WAS the most talented back in the draft. Is he still?

Situation as in he signed Sjax for a year so he can afford to do this Bingo. Exactly why SJax got the 1 year deal from me. Once his contract is up, Lattimore is ready to step in.

Assuming his body cooperates of course. With the top 7 off the board, not sure if I would pick any other prospect ahead of him there. All have questions.

Also, mildly surprised Bears didn't choose Arthur Brown as two of his top LBs are on short term contracts

Yeah, I thought Brown would go there for sure.
And 1.8 was a tough spot, unless someone screwed up in 1-7...
But I got the #3 player on my board, so I was happy.

Can't pass up on a starting QB IMO. Soooo much more value in a starting QB than a 4th string running back with bad knees but upside. Bears made the smart choice IMO. If Manuel even has a decent year he's going to be worth a TON! Starting QB on a long cheap contract.

You got screwed in the 1.8 slot btw 9ers. Both other drafts I've been in had much better players available there. No joke, one had Ball, Lacy, Patterson, and Hopkins available there. The other had Hopkins at least.

Yeah, but I didn't need someone on my roster that I would wait for and trade away... I needed RB talent that would be ready when my team is ready to compete... which is in 2014. Enter Lattimore.
Bears made a great pick too, but QB wasn't even close to being on my draft board.

Wouldn't be surprised if you have 0 starting QB's next year. Osweiler has the best chance but he's far from a surefire prospect.

I believe Mallett will be traded and start in 2014. I believe Osweiler starts in 2015. I believe Gabbert keeps the job in 2014 with a bounceback 2013.

Well, at least he stayed consistent. He kept saying if you wanted Lattimore to take him before 8, and I guess you took him.
Must admit I thought you were bluffing though.

That is awfully optimistic 9ers. Especially the Gabbert one...

Guess we'll just have to wait and see then huh?
Mallett trade rumors all offseason. He wont start in NE, he'll start somewhere else. Manning is getting old, and I could see him being done in 2 years. Jaguars owner wants to back Gabbert.

lol Nice to see so many positive things said about my picks. I hope they perform as well as you guys think and that I don't have Steve Slaton and Jamarcus Russell 2.0 on my team. Think they will be quality, but it may take awhile for the investments to really take off.
